Goals


  • To assist agencies to recruit, develop better retention rates, and provide training to help promote women in federal law enforcement.

  • To identify barriers to hiring, promoting, and retaining women in the law enforcement professions.

  • To monitor the progress of agencies in the hiring, promotion and retention of women in law enforcement and recommend methods for improvement.

  • To enhance the image of law enforcement in the communities we serve.

  • To promote the value of collaborative and cooperative leadership styles.

  • To conduct research on issues affecting women in law enforcement positions and to establish and maintain an information-sharing network.
