"This email is from my publisher who is looking for more essays to include in her anthology. She is very reputable and would especially like some essays from law enforcement. if you are interested, please respond to her directly. Her name is Marion Gold."
Essay deadline extended to May 31, 2007!
In response to many requests for "more time, please!" Brittany Publications, Ltd. has extended the submission deadline for the forthcoming Anthology: "A MOMENT IN TIME - Stories of Inspiration and Appreciation."
The Official Entry Form & Booklet is available from http://www.brittanypublications.com
and must accompany all entries.
As previously announced, Essays will be evaluated for potential publication in the first of an alternate-year series of Anthologies. Volume One is entitled "A MOMENT IN TIME - Stories of Inspiration and Appreciation."
Entries must focus on "a moment in time" in which a person or an event touched a life in a way that inspired you or someone you care about. It may have been a major event, such as flood, an earthquake, a tornado - or a gentle rain or snowfall. Maybe the moment was a personal interaction between the main character and a teacher, a mentor, a friend, or a family member. It may only have been a passing comment by a stranger that set off a series of events that forever changed a life or inspired you. Essays may be nonfiction (or fiction based on real-life experiences), or created solely from the writer's vivid imagination. The work must be original and not excerpted or previously published in any format.
