Leading Change in the 21st Century through
Communication, Cooperation, and Collaboration.

WIFLE (Women in Federal Law Enforcement) is a non-profit corporation established in June 1999 from an interagency committee formed by the U.S. Departments of Justice and Treasury in the 1970s to address why women were not joining the ranks of federal law enforcement.

WIFLE is an organization of women and men working together to foster awareness of the value that women bring to law enforcement. We celebrate our historic accomplishments and strive for new achievements by recognizing and using the skills, creativity, and leadership abilities that women in law enforcement have demonstrated.

Through communication and cooperation we aim to improve gender equity in law enforcement by encouraging women to enter into and excel in their chosen careers.
