WIFLE ANNOUNCES THE 2008 AWARD WINNERS

 

Join us in congratulating the WIFLE 2008 Award winners!
The awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 7:00 p.m.
at the Hyatt Regency Tampa.  Marcy Forman, Director, Office of Investigations,
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will be the Keynote Speaker at the Banquet.

 

TOP PROSECUTOR AWARD

Honors a federal prosecutor for exceptional work resulting in the conviction of individual(s) for trafficked women or children for sexual exploitation; committed or attempted to commit a crime of violence against women or any minority group; committed a civil rights violation; and other heinous criminal offenses.  

 JULIE Y. CROSS AWARD

Honors a full-time law enforcement individual who displayed an unusual degree of courage, stamina, and willingness to go above the beyond the call of duty, resulting in an exceptional heroic achievement in law enforcement.  

 OUTSTANDING FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT EMPLOYEE AWARD  

Honors a full-time law enforcement individual who has sustained a superior level of performance and serves as a role model for women in law enforcement.

 OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE 
FOR WOMEN IN FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AWARD  

Honors an individual who has made significant contributions that have advanced the recruitment, retention, and promotion of women in federal law enforcement.
