Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. was incorporated in 1999 as a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation to serve as a professional organization for women and men in federal law enforcement. It is an outgrowth of the former Inter-agency Committee on Women in Federal Law Enforcement that was created in 1978 and co-sponsored by the U. S. Departments of Justice and Treasury. The Foundation is the educational entity providing for the Annual Leadership Conference, the Scholarship Program, research and other programs throughout a fiscal year.
